Summary:

Utilize strong leadership and negotiation skills to effectively monitor the development and construction of commercial projects and facility assessments: primarily senior living, multi-family housing, hospitality, medical, institutional, and office.

Job Description:

Project management accountabilities include day or overnight trips to local and nationwide construction project locations, performing inspections, generating an industry standard report, completing compliance inspections, cost benefits analysis, and scheduling reviews. Typical reports include Pre-Closing Document Reviews, Construction Monitoring Reports for construction projects and Property Condition Assessments for existing properties. Additional responsibilities include replacement reserve analysis of existing properties to determine immediate repairs, LEED-EB improvement requirements, and forecast life-term capital replacement needs.

Qualifications:

Highly skilled and talented individuals with a minimum of 20 years construction related experience on commercial projects; past experience with construction management and project development preferred. Must possess a degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or Building Construction Management. License is desirable. A thorough understanding of SBC, UBC, ADA, LEED, and OHSA is necessary. Foundation skills required are effective verbal and written communication and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software.
