Customized Capital Reserve Study Helps Myrtle Beach Condos Accurately Budget for Future Repairs

Per their bylaws, Maisons-sur-Mer condos are required to conduct a reserve study every five years. When it came time to renew their study in 2011, they conducted an online search to find a service provider that was responsive, could customize their study, and provide a workable funding plan.


Dan Williams, a Senior Project Manager with zumBrunnen, began by reviewing the former reserve study and Capital Reserve study - Myrtle Beach Condosasking questions. Next, he did a comprehensive walk of the entire property, coordinated with the committee on items that should be added and removed from the reserve list and tailored a funding plan to meet their funding capacity. In order to make the changes, the bylaws were modified to incorporate the line item changes, and Dan answered questions at each step of the process to ensure the changes met the client’s needs.
