Atlanta, GA, October 8, 2019 – zumBrunnen, Inc., an independent building consulting firm, is pleased to announce the addition of James Dixson as a Senior Project Manager. Dixson brings over 20 years of diverse experience in the construction industry to the company.

Dixson is highly experienced in managing new construction and renovation projects. Over the years, he successfully managed multiple construction projects ranging in size from $1.2 million to $134 million. During his career, he has worked on a broad range of projects in the senior living, medical, industrial, retail and residential markets.

Prior to joining the zumBrunnen team in 2019, James served as the Director of Environmental Services for Southminster for six years. Before that, he was a Project Manager with Rodgers Builders for seven years. He has extensive experience in client and owner relations, staff oversight, subcontractor management, budgeting and cost control, bidding and estimating, change order management, site safety and OSHA compliance.

In his role as a Senior Project Manager with zumBrunnen, Dixson will work directly with clients across the country, providing them with detailed facility condition assessments, objective construction monitoring services and accurate forecasts of expenses for planning and budgeting purposes.

Dixson earned his Master of Science in Urban Planning and his Bachelor of Science in Soil Science from the University of Tennessee. He also holds a Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). Dixson also earned certificates for OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training and OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training. In addition, he received an Estimator Training Certificate from Associated General Contractors (AGC), and he successfully completed the Leadership Development Series from Associated Building Contractors (ABC).
