Atlanta, GA – June 1, 2012 – zumBrunnen, Inc., an independent building consulting firm, is presenting an educational seminar at the Aging Services of Washington 61st Annual Summer Conference being held June 5-7, 2012 at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA. (Pre-conference workshops and a golf tournament will be held on June 4.) Tom Doyen, Director of Business Development for the firm, will present the educational session.

The Fundamentals of Strategic Capital Planning:

Doyen’s session is titled The Fundamentals of Strategic Capital Planning: Understanding Your Financial and Physical Health and Capabilities. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 1:45-3:15 pm. The session will focus on the importance of the strategic planning process. As senior living communities continue to age and competitors enter the market, the implications of strategic planning and strategic capital replacement planning become even more critical. This session will explain the fundamental issues in the process and explore how to use smart planning to position communities for the future.
